Interview with owner Enzo Cinquegrana

An interview done by Jeff of @passionandcraftfilms delves into the path and inspiration for La Forgia, and some advice for those looking to forge their own path.

Interview with Jeff of Passion and Craft Films.

La Forgia started as a dream of owner Enzo Cinquegrana more than 20 years ago. A sculptor frustrated with the art gallery scene, Enzo dove head first into forging as a method to express his sculptural abilities. When he discovered forged metal could satisfy his need to create sculptural forms and his desire to have his work be useful for more than just a glance at an art gallery, he knew architectural ironwork was his passion.

He tempered that passion with years studying under American, French, German, and Italian blacksmiths to acquire as much knowledge, history, and innovative techniques as he could. These traditions created not just the professional know-how, but the cultural essence that goes into all the works of La Forgia.

“Culture, especially a client’s culture, is the backbone and the foundation of the work created here. It bleeds through any design and runs down each project to absolutely steal the viewer and pull them in to whatever idea or culture the client wants to express.” -Enzo Iron-

La Forgia can make anything you desire from metal. From multiple or duplicate works that will decorate an entire estate, to one of a kind pieces designed to be the talking point of an environment. Keep in mind this is truly custom work, not mass produced, each work is created by hand, and that is a quality you can see and feel.

Extensive work on structural ironwork gives La Forgia the experience needed to install and mount anything whether it be strictly ornamental or whether structural needs are required. Enzo, the owner, has many contacts throughout the industry and can outsource certain aspects of the work to both fit within a budget, or add to fabrication or installation needs. “We can do gates, railings, doors, wall decor, stage and photography props, balconies, garden arches, swords, plaques, knives, hammers and tools… the list goes on.” So if you’re thinking about hiring La Forgia for your work, just reach out, consultations and site visits are free!

La Forgia is located in Las Vegas, NV in the USA and can furnish small works to anywhere shipping is possible and large works anywhere in the southern Nevada and southern California areas.
